Sponsorships:
We get a lot of requests and inquiries about sponsorship. Obviously we can't sponsor every person seeking a sponsorship, and in fact, the number of riders we sponsor is quite low.

So, how do you increase your chances of getting sponsored by KOS Racing?

First, our Team Manager is very busy with day-to-day operations, and does not have the time to answer e-mail requests or inquiries. All sponsorship requests or inquiries must be done by postal mail. E-mail or faxes about sponsorship will not be answered. Also, please do not call about sponsorships. Everything you need to know about obtaining a sponsorship is contained on this page.

Your resume packet should include the following:
Resume - 2 pages max.

References - Preferably race directors and / or track owners, and yes we do call them.
Copy of most recent report card (If you're still in high school)
Photo of you and your race bike

Your resume should be presented in a professional manner. Take the time to check spelling and grammar. Typed resumes are preferred. Sloppy or illegible resumes will be filed in the round file marked "T" for trash.

We attend many races, and this is where we find the majority of our riders. You never know when a KOS scout will be watching you, so always presume and act accordingly.
Who has the best chance? The bottom line is results, both on and off the track. We look for riders that present themselves in a professional manner, both on and off the track. Are you willing to help others? Do your race bikes represent your sponsors well? Are you willing to travel to major events? Do you show good sportsmanship?

Finally, do you influence sales in your area? The reason any company sponsors, in our case a person, is to get customers to buy their products, through representation of their products by sponsored individuals. Basically, it's a form of advertising, and advertising is meant to sell products. Unfortunately, this concept is often misunderstood or ignored in the race bike world, by people looking for an easy discount on parts. Many bike companies sponsor just about any person that calls, but basically it's just another direct sale for the company, and another loss for a dealer. If you are one of those people looking for an easy ride or discounted parts, your looking at the wrong company here.

A sponsorship from KOS is one that is earned, and should not be taken lightly. If you feel that you meet our requirements, please put together a resume, and we'll be glad to consider you for the team.
